Overview
*Hiring Immediately for Short Term Casual Role*
We need 1 Sign Spinner to start tomorrow Thursday April 23 and 1 Brand Ambassador to start Friday April 24. Sign Spinner role can be all days or some days April 23-May 3 shifts 4 hrs 11am-3pm or 3pm-7pm. Brand Ambassador just Fri April 24-Sun April 26 11am-4pm.
This is a short term role for a Cannabis store grand opening.
Sign Spinner will provide high energy sign spinning and attract passerby and traffic to the store. Must be okay outside for 4 hrs in weather conditions and dress appropriately.
Brand Ambassador will be inside the store supporting the opening and chatting with customers, passing along general info, spreading brand awareness.
This role offers an exciting short term opportunity to engage with the public, promote products or services, and enhance brand visibility. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, confident communicators with a passion for marketing and customer interaction. Bilingual skills are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse audiences.
Duties
Stand in designated locations to hold signage and attract attention from passersby
Engage with the public in a friendly and professional manner to promote products or services
Provide product demonstrations or explanations as needed to generate interest
Distribute promotional materials or samples to potential customers
Collect feedback or contact information for follow-up marketing efforts
Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor throughout shifts
Assist with setting up and breaking down promotional displays when required
Skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
Customer service-oriented attitude with a friendly and approachable personality
Public speaking skills to confidently present information during product demos or promotions
Knowledge of marketing principles and sales techniques is advantageous
Bilingual abilities to communicate with non-English speaking audiences are preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
